The screenplay Johanna, my passion project is a period drama that's based on a true story of my husband's great-great (African American) grandmother who discovers oil on her property in Caldwell County, Texas in 1918. Her new found wealth captures the attention of a Klan member who plots to steal her oil empire in court.
GETAWAY
An optimistic HBCU student pays for a weekend getaway in a rural cabin with friends to win over his high society crush. They soon discover a killer on the loose among them.
